Yan'grak by TheMightyGorga Yan'grak by TheMightyGorga

Yan’grak (YAHN grahk) tiny, flying, parasitic arthropod, Neutral. Ketan analog of a mosquito… with a one foot wingspan. Where the Terran mosquito harvests blood to nourish its young, the yan’grak relies on it as its primary source of sustenance. Yan’grak prefer warm-blooded creatures to feed on. Aquatic yan’grak larva are plentiful, and harvested for a variety of Ketan delicacies.

"You hear the droning of many insectoid wings somewhere nearby… they seem to be getting closer…"

Disposition: Voracious thirst for blood.
Habitat: Hot and humid marshlands, swamps and forests.
Society/Frequency: Solitary or swarm of 2-12. Rarely a large swarm of 6-60+ can form. Common.

These are so cool. The details and shading are awesome. I wouldn't want to come across a swarm of them though....
