Anyone have any good samples of aliens with feathery wing-arms? I'm still trying to draw this, and not liking many of the results. The anatomy of having a wing that also functions as a grasping, manipulating arm and hand just seems weird to me.

Of the main characters, who should I draw next?
1 - Borkus, her eldest brother. Mighty and loyal fighter, wields a warhammer, protector and blacksmith. 2 - Pepilie “Pep”, Baby sister, toddler. Happy baby. 3 - Lilla, Rozika's deceased mama. 4 - Nyxra, wicked daughter of Rozika's mentor, and Rozika's rival. 5 - Skarn, ruthless older brother to Nyxra. 6 - Grish, twin brother of Nyxra, who secretly admires and has a crush on Rozika.

Wow, I'm pleasantly surprised at the amount of response I've gotten from some very talented people to contribute art for my book. I still have a long way to go, but now I'm at least feeling like we've made a dent in the ongoing project. Getting art from friends encourages me to continue making more of my own as well....

Wow... in 2009, I posted that I was almost finished with the text part of the book. It's been done (mostly) for a few months. I just need art. Lots of art. I can't afford art, but I can't do it all myself. I've had a few people help here and there, I know, but... it still seems to be an overwhelming prospect. I plan to try to publish this somehow... but I need art. You will get credit. I have 400+ pages of a well-thought-out Universe, that's the culmination of almost 4 decades of my imagination... If you're interested, please let me know. :)
